Its The End Of The World
Joel 2:31 - "The sun will be turned into darkness And the moon into blood Before the great and awesome day of the LORD comes."Doomsday prophets have been predicting the end times, end of the world nonsense for centuries, and so far they have all been wrong. Crazy mother fuckers spend their entire lives looking forward to when it all ends. Not just for them but for everyone. This is the problem with religion. They always want to drag people down into their depths of batshit crazy insanity.
This year is no fucking different and in their usual form, Christians are NOT disappointing us.
The “blood moon” is largely considered a rare natural phenomenon
scientifically explained as a
version of the total lunar eclipse. But of course, Christians believe in the words of superstitious fucking farmers and see the four-part cycle of a reddish moon that occurred two times in April and October in 2014 with two more expected in 2015 as a divine sign that the world is coming to an end, at least by next September.
So the countdown clock starts again with crazy mother fuckers anxiously awaiting for the day that signifies an end to the world. A day that will come and go without event as they have come and gone without event countless times in the past.
So apparently we have the next eight months to endure this crazy bullshit, as they will have to endure our mocking and laughing finger points at them.
The stupidity hurts. Leave me your comments and have a beer!

Prosperity Gospels Debunked - An Ongoing Project
John 10:10 — “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
The signature verse of the prosperity gospel, John 10:10 is used to suggest that God loves his followers and wants them to have every good thing. But interpreting this verse to promise physical gain neglects the depth suggested by its context.
The preceding verses illustrate the parable of the sheep and their good shepherd, Jesus, who calls them by name. The sheep know the good shepherd’s voice and follow. Verse 10 contrasts Jesus with false shepherds who steal and kill and destroy.
The abundance of life suggested here has to do with knowing and being known by Jesus, not material things. He does not offer them an extension of physical life nor an increase of material possessions, but the certainty, of a life lived as a higher level of obedience to God’s will and reflecting his glory.”Amazing is the ego of the faith based believer that takes a verse out of context to adapt it to have meaning in their lives. This rings typical of any religious person. Its like they need the reassurance in something that they are unsure of doing and they can find many biblical verses to fit with damn near any life event or decision.
But the audacity to believe that just because of a delusional belief in a fictional character that you somehow deserve success more than I do. Its a thought like this that I will call you out on your bullshit EVERY time.

Separation of Church and Snake
Mack Wolford, one of the most famous Pentecostal serpent handlers in
Appalachia, was laid to rest back in 2012 at a low-key service at his West
Virginia church a week after succumbing to a snake bite that made
headlines across the nation.
He enjoyed handling snakes during worship services, but it’s a
tradition that has killed about 100 practitioners since it started in
the east Tennessee hills in 1909.
Ya think? WTF is wrong with these people? These geniuses have NOT really progressed that far from our neanderthal ancestors.
The practice of snake handling and of drinking strychnine and other poisons, found in a few offshoots of Pentecostalism, find their Biblical support in the book of Mark.
Wolford’s mission in life is to make sure that this custom, which he learned from his parents, survives for another generation. Let's see how that works out now that the crazy bastard is dead.
“Anybody can do it that believes it,” he says. “Jesus said, ‘These signs shall follow them which believe.’ This is a sign to show people that God has the power.”
I for one am in total support of the separation of church and snake, however it does provide some quality entertainment, ESPECIALLY when one of these jackasses get the bite.
Leave your messages below and have a drink.
Several dozen family, friends and members of Wolford's House of the
Lord Jesus church in tiny Matoaka filled the simple hall for the
service, which lasted slightly more than an hour. At the request of
pastor's widow, Fran Wolford, media were forbidden inside the building.
Wolford's own dad was a serpent handler who died from a snake bite in 1983 and in keeping with the family business, Mack Wolford, who was 44, was bitten by his yellow timber
rattlesnake at an evangelistic event in a state park about 80 miles west
of Bluefield, in West Virginia’s isolated southern tip.
Ya think? WTF is wrong with these people? These geniuses have NOT really progressed that far from our neanderthal ancestors.
The practice of snake handling and of drinking strychnine and other poisons, found in a few offshoots of Pentecostalism, find their Biblical support in the book of Mark.
"And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."Pentecostals who brandish poisonous snakes, drink strychnine and play with fire as a testimony of their faith. Each Labor Day weekend, the church has hosted a well-documented “homecoming” for snake handlers, who believe that Mark 16:17-18 mandates that true Christians “take up serpents and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover.”

Ouija Boards and Other Fun Stuff
In doing research for some upcoming shows, I have viewed countless video's and have read some crazy ass shit on how people feel about a toy. A fucking board game.
A board game that apparently can open portals to hell, which is rather convenient because I was looking for a new and interesting vacation spot and I LOATHE tourists. So hell seems like a fun place to me.
But I digress...
Every damn video that I viewed, every damn one of the articles that I have read, they ALL were reeking of bullshit. Demons have been summoned, dead people were contacted like the Ouija was some sort of heavenly phone system and angels cried. But these religious folks who swear that "people need to leave these things alone because they're dangerous," all have that same tearful story they share of their one horrifying lie about when they unintentionally summoned a demon.
I also came across some great material regarding snake handlers ALWAYS finding the ones where the snake bit the preacher particularly funny. In seeing this, my beliefs were confirmed about religion retards the common sense gene. You play with a dangerous, wild snake, it should not surprise you when you get bit. Us Atheist's have a word for people like you: Dumbfucks we call you.
But the scary thing about this is that having religious beliefs is the norm for the vast majority of people. Laws are created with religious beliefs in mind. People live their lives around the #1 fictional best seller of all time. Some kill either in the name of their God or believe that their God told them to.
Try as I might I cant see the attraction.
I prefer more of a reality based belief system. One based on facts...I'm funny that way. I like being able to explain things logically and intellectually. I find it unacceptable to believe in "God's will" that people starve and are miserable while others consume untold riches.
I DO try to respect the views of others and I know I should allow other to believe what the fuck they want but it get's increasingly difficult when I see planes flying into buildings and people killing their children in the name of God. (Or their interpretation of the word of God OR their mental delusions)
I dont see that as being something I can accept as a functioning human being.
So yeah these people are societal norms and I being an Atheist is looked at like there's something wrong with me. Like MY thought process is flawed. Maybe this is my I never really joined the cliques or jumped on the bandwagons, always swam against the flow, always questioning, always learning, moment.
Sorry, but I will continue to believe in NOT believing.

Snake Oil Salesmen
Step right up folks. Dont crowd, there's plenty to go around. This magic elixir cures all ailments from arthritis to yellow fever.
If you suffer from nausea, vomiting, water weight gain, lower back pain, receding hairline, eczema, seborrhea, psoriasis, itching and chafing, liver spots, blood clots, ringworm, excessive body odor, uneven tire wear, pyorrhea, gonorrhea, diarrhea, halitosis, scoliosis, loss of bladder control, hammertoe, low sperm count, warped floors, cluttered drawers, hunchback, heart attack, feline leukemia, athlete's foot, head lice, clubfoot, MS, MD, VD, fleas, anxiety, sleeplessness, drowsiness, poor gas mileage, tooth decay, parvo, warts, unibrow, lazy eye, fruit flies, chest pains, clogged drains, hemorrhoids, dry heaving or sexual dysfunction - you can be cured of all these and more. For only a paltry $9.99 per month you can enjoy the health of your youth...
Since jobs are scarce, people have been looking for alternatives to produce an income to support themselves and their family by enrolling in any of the countless home business opportunities that are spread like feces across the internet. Weight loss products, essential oils, vitamin supplements, exercise equipment, potions and lotions...they're all out there in one way, shape or manner. They all share one common denominator. They are all overpriced worthless garbage with the sole intent of only putting a few bucks in the distributors bank.
Now Im not saying that there are no legitimate work at home opportunities out there - there ARE - but the vast majority (98%) are worthless, useless, miserable, no good, no account, good for nothing meaningless crap.
So how does one find the REAL opportunities amongst the field of manure that inundates the internet and social media? They ALL make the same claims of seemingly overnight riches.
P.T. Barnum proclaimed that there was a sucker born every minute. If you are looking to work from home - which in and of itself boasts a large rate of failure for various reasons - and hear outlandish claims like "earn 21,057.63 by the end of the week with NO selling, NO recruiting, NO money to join, NO work involved..." or "make money while you sleep" avoid these "opportunities" like the fucking plague because you will be disappointed at the results you actually receive. MLM or Network Marketing is famous for this shit.
Caveat emptor. BUYER BEWARE! These offers are as abundant and just as fraudulent as chain letters or finding you have lineage ties to Nigerian royalty.
So if you are seeking an alternative to a job to provide you an income, STAY TUNED because during the coming weeks I will be discussing what I have found to be legit money makers. Working from home has its many pro's and con's and the one that I particularly enjoy the most is the ability to write my own paycheck and the freedom to spend time with my family when I so choose.
Right now, check out affiliate marketing. Its not easy but nothing is at the beginning. If you are being told making money from home is initially easy, you are being lied to and scammed. Leave your comments below.

What A Great Day
I came home the other day to an empty house to find a note from my wife on the fridge saying that she went out for a couple of drinks with her friends. So I took out some leftovers and tossed them in the microwave. As soon as I shut the door and set the timer to 3 minutes, she comes home bombed off her ass. She saw me standing in the kitchen and stumbled over to me reeking of beer demanding sex right here right now.
Always the dutiful spouse willing to take one for the team, I was ready. I took her in my arms and layed a wet passionate kiss on her as I tore at her clothes. She was on me like a wildcat, Clawing at me with reckless abandon. After a bit of foreplay we screwed, licked and fondled, we banged, balled, diddled and pounded the duck in every conceivable way, position and manner possible until I shot twinxt wind and water, with both of us collapsing together, exhausted in a sweaty naked heap on the floor where we ending up spooning. She looked back at me with love in her eye saying how much she enjoyed it and that I haven’t lasted that long in a while.
I just laid there a moment, content, with a smug smile on my face, feeling like a sexual dynamo - a sensual loving impassioned lover - a mother fucking stud - A GOD - that’s when I hear the BEEP of the microwave. PERFECT TIMING - dinner was done.

How I Became Reverend Zesty
People who have known me have seen me as a militant Atheist with a zero tolerance policy for (what I see as) stupidity. By stupidity I am referring to faith based beliefs that are presented by the world's religions. Now that they see me proclaiming Reverend status, they are confused and think that I've had a change of heart or loss of sanity.
To these folks I say thank you for your concern but I am in full control of my faculties. You will understand once I explain myself.
There was a time long ago that I considered myself a devout, bible banging Christian. A day didn't go by where I wasn't either in church or at a bible study. I went everywhere with my bible and actually started reading the thing. The WHOLE thing. I started in Genesis and ended with Revelations. I devoured every word, not just the ones the pastor told me to read.
In doing so I began to have questions. Questions about what I was reading. Questions about what I was seeing in churches that didn't exactly fit with what I was reading. Questions about what I witnessed in church. Questions, questions, questions. I had a thirst for the answers to make it all make sense to me. So I approached my spiritual leaders at the time. I was SHOCKED by the response I received.
Such anger. Such hatred. How DARE I question what I was being told. I learned why these people are called sheep that day. So I figure I would take it to prayer. Surely God would provide the answers. For DAYS I prayed awaiting a sign - ANYTHING - but got nothing. In the meantime word spread throughout my church that I was questioning "the word of God" and I was completely ostracized by the flock.
Slowly I come to realize what a load of bullshit I was believing in. The more I searched, the more I discovered what I believed in was quite insane and I eventually left the bible in a drawer. I am now a recovering Christian and have been clean for over 30 years but I will never forget my life as a faith based slave and the oppression that I felt.
Fast forward to 2008 when I decided to become a minister. At first it was to mock what I once believed in, but after some thought, I saw it as something more.
When people donate to religious groups, it's tax-deductible. Churches don't pay property taxes on their land or buildings. When they buy stuff, they don't pay sales taxes. When they sell stuff at a profit, they don't pay capital gains tax. If they spend less than they take in, they don't pay corporate income taxes. Priests, ministers, rabbis and the like get "parsonage exemptions" that let them deduct mortgage payments, rent and other living expenses when they're doing their income taxes. So why the fuck wouldn't I want to become a minister?
So I developed Reverend Zesty. I am a foul mouthed Atheist Preacherman who believes in actually using my brain. My preachings and teachings are for prosperity and living life to the fullest. The bible I was reading said "give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime" Quite the opposite of the message from any pulpit I have seen. Religion does nothing to create fishermen. It enslaves people to be dependent on the faith based beliefs they have been indoctrinated since birth with. When the basket is passed at my church I am not looking for a tithe, I am looking for a way to help people achieve greatness in their lives.
After all, if we are supposed to be created in our God's image, should we not be a shining example of what we are told He is? (IF God is a HE that is)

As an independent media source, Intellectual Coitus was created by and for our patrons. Your feedback makes this show what it is today and what future shows will be. Our mission: to share the REAL word beyond our core or choir to those who didn’t know they gave a shit any longer.

We’re about “the mindful life” - thinking outside the box, sustainability, conscious consumerism, active citizenship, the arts, personal spirituality, enlightened education…really, anything that helps us to live a good life that also happens to be good for others, and our planet, without the delusional beliefs we are indoctrinated in since birth.
I am the only Atheist preacher that I know of and I find that people need the spiritual guidance not offered from your traditional pulpit. You see, the message I preach isnt about whose god has the bigger dick but how to break free of traditional religious bondage and embrace the life that any supreme being, whose image we are supposedly created in, intended. That includes ALL aspects of life not just things spiritual. Things like being in touch with who you truly are and being yourself. Keeping it real. No reason to wear a mask and being a phony here. I dont get hung up on petty bullshit like “dirty words” or “foul language” - as a matter of fact its how I talk so if shit like that offends you stop reading now and move on.
If you want a fresh message and be entertained at the same time THIS is the place for you.

A New Year - A New Beginning
When people donate to religious groups, it's tax-deductible. Churches don't pay property taxes on their land or buildings. When they buy stuff, they don't pay sales taxes. When they sell stuff at a profit, they don't pay capital gains tax. If they spend less than they take in, they don't pay corporate income taxes. Priests, ministers, rabbis and the like get "parsonage exemptions" that let them deduct mortgage payments, rent and other living expenses when they're doing their income taxes.
So why the fuck wouldn't you want to become a minister?
I am the only agnostic preacher that I know of and I find that people need the spiritual guidance not offered from your traditional pulpit. You see, the message I preach isnt about whose god has the bigger dick but how to break free of traditional religious bondage and embrace the life that any supreme being, whose image we are supposedly created in, intended for us.
It is my goal to empower you to become the greatest you, the you that you always have wanted to be. Why the fuck not? What limiting belief is holding you back for pursuing your dreams? What is keeping you from your destiny?
Society teaches us literally from birth how to be the same as everyone else. The educational system rarely encourages individuality and the traditional religions teach us to become obedient slaves. I dont believe this is the life a supreme being would have wanted for us. We can achieve greatness in our lives if we break the chains that bound us to a certain way to think, a certain way to act and a certain way to do things. Society makes us look forward to one MAYBE two days out of the seven day week and we do things those two days to our minds and bodies that helps us forget how pathetically mundane our lives are.
I guess society wants obedient little worker bee's but if we were to change all that, if we were to live our dreams and design our lives instead of building the lifestyle of others. Is that really what you want for yourself? Is that the legacy you want your children to remember you by?
Maybe its time for a change. Maybe you're sick and tired of conforming to society. Maybe you want to think outside the box for once.
I am Reverend Zesty. I have a foul mouth at times and I teach and preach a message of freedom and prosperity. I do this using works both secular and from the worlds religions and together we can change our world. It all starts within us. Please join me on my weekly podcast. Listen in and have some fun. THATS what life should be all about.

The Provenance Project
This has been on my mind for several years now. As I see more and more people struggling to make ends meet I feel that there are several areas where guidance is necessary. Everyone can benefit from some direction and The Provenance Project can fill that void.
There is certainly no shame in needing help. The problem is that people feel too proud to reach out. So with this post I will reach out to you. I am looking to put together a resource directory of local and national resources available to help those in need. Whether your issue is homelessness, you need help feeding yourself and your family, developing an income stream, financial assistance...WHATEVER...I want you to have this information readily available to you.
The funny thing is is that there are TONS of these resources available but not know to many. It has been up to the consumer to dig up this information themselves. Well, some dont have the ability or knowledge to take on such an undertaking ESPECIALLY when you are looking at or dealing with the stress that accompanies the need for help.
So what I need from you, my loyal reader, is the heads up on what resources you have. I am colpiling everything I can think of to assist anyone in any situation. Eventually putting this information in book form or a website but I want to keep the info compiled free of charge.
I am also developing a "Compass Program" which people can join to get the direction they need in their lives. It doesnt matter what your current status is EVERYONE needs some direction.

My First Show
Okay I got THAT out of my system.
The first episode of Intellectual Coitus is wrapped up and AVAILABLE HERE.
All in all, I think it was a decent show, not my best but definitely a good start. My vision for the show is to extract an emotion from my audience. Be it anger, happiness, sadness...whatever. I hope to make you laugh at the insanity I think some parts of our world and lives has become.
With some shit you either laugh at or go crazy.
